Edwin Booth

​Edwin has worked in the business for over 50 years and has an extensive knowledge of grocery retailing and leadership, having also performed Non-Executive roles in food manufacturing and a large independent grocery buying group.

His interests are wide and varied including the sustainable employment of ex-offenders and the support of remote rural areas through his work with the Royal Countryside fund. Edwin is a Trustee of the Eden Project and has a particular interest in wine which he shares with enthusiastic family members of his family at home. Edwin and his wife Anne have two daughters with the eldest Emma having joined the business in 2024.
