So, as a Customer Assistant, you will already be a natural when it comes to customer service however, with our bespoke training you will become an expert in delighting our customers with our warm northern welcome and creating a magical shopping experience for our customers.

Working in one of our departments your day will be filled with a variety of interesting tasks, from checking stock and keeping records to looking after health & safety and food hygiene. Our customers will be your main focus, and everything you do will be with their shopping experience in mind. If they're happy, then we're happy - and that's what Booths is all about. You don't need retail experience to join our family. But you do need to be the kind of warm, friendly, hardworking and innovative person who can shine in front of our customers and fit comfortably into a hard working close team.

Trading Customer assistant 20 hours per week – Primarily replenishing shelves from either deliveries or our warehouse back stock across Fruit & Veg, Fresh cabinets, Packed bread, Beers / Wines / Spirits, Frozen food, Edible & None edible products. If not replenishing then serving customers through our checkouts, Its fast paced and has great variety. Looking ideally for 6am starts or 10.30 pm finish times but we can accommodate other shifts. 

Please Note:

Customer Assistant roles will require a minimum of 1 weekend shift per week.

Advertised rates of pay are applicable to 23 years +

Under 18:            £8.47 (probationary rate) - £8.56 (full rate)

18 – 20 years:    £8.82 (probationary rate) – £8.90 (full rate)

21 – 22 years:    £10.26 (probationary rate) – £10.32 (full rate)
