Rate: £12.30

Working pattern:

This is a part time position with a contract of 20 hours per week. 

We require a Saturday availability each week, and availability of a minimum of 3 weekdays (4x 5hour shifts). You must be able to work shifts between the hours of 6am and 10.30pm

As part of your contract, we ask for availability that is one and a half times your weekly hours. For example, if you were on a 10-hour contract, we would ask for 15 hours of availability. This doesn’t mean you will work 15 hours (unless there is overtime available, and this may be offered to you but there is no obligation for you to work it), but your shifts may be placed anywhere within the availability you provide. This helps us build fair, consistent rotas which require limited amends once issued,  and ensures we can meet customer demand across the week. With this role being in Retail, you must also be available to work one late night and one weekend day per week.

You will have 3 weeks’ notice of when your shifts will be. If you can’t exactly match the hours and days we are looking for, this can be discussed. We are always happy to hear from you.

The Role

Our customers will be your main focus, and everything you do will be with their shopping experience in mind. That means as a Trading Customer Assistant,  you could be serving our customers at the checkouts, replenishing stock, checking dates across our fresh produce and grocery products, as well as helping unload deliveries. You don't need retail experience to join our family. As with our with our bespoke training you will become an expert in delighting our customers with our warm northern welcome and creating a magical shopping experience for our customers.

21+: £12.30 p/h

18-20: £10.30 p/h

Under 18: £9.80 p/h
